Election campaign management is a sub-area of political marketing and refers to the entire planning of an election campaign, from the time of your personal decision to stand for election to the counting of the election results. A great deal of knowledge is required to successfully complete this task. In order to be able to carry out this planning at all, extensive organisational talent is required to cover all areas of election campaign management.

Political advertising and political marketing on the internet are only part of this. However, in order for citizens to have confidence in you to lead the country out of the crisis of democracy, you must not attract negative attention beforehand through a lack of planning and an enormous lack of competence. Only through a well thought-out election campaign can you contribute to ending the crisis of democracy. At the beginning, you should set your own goals so that you can work towards them. This will also motivate you to put the necessary political marketing into practice, as political advertising and political marketing on the Internet are relatively low on your campaign management agenda.

Firstly, you need to complete a list of formalities. You should know the electoral law so that your candidature is legally compliant and all further steps cannot be contested. In addition, you must have the current electoral roll so that your subsequent efforts reach potential voters at all. As soon as you have the current electoral roll, you can start calculating the costs for your political marketing, political advertising and political marketing on the Internet.

Of course, you also need a strategy for how you can cover these costs, if you cannot do so entirely out of your own pocket, and how you can obtain the necessary financial resources. If you manage to do this successfully, you will already have demonstrated the expertise required to lead the country out of the democratic crisis and revitalise the economy. Once you have an overview of the costs, your political marketing needs a timetable.

Your election campaign management can only be crowned with success and you will only have the chance to overcome the crisis of democracy if your political marketing on the Internet and political advertising in other media take place at the right intervals to the election. In this way, you can reach voters particularly effectively, seek dialogue and adapt to the wishes of citizens in order to be able to conduct more targeted political marketing. The main part will ultimately consist of political advertising, putting as much effort as possible into political marketing on the Internet in order to be able to counteract misconceptions at an early stage, public appearances and all the other parts that comprehensive political marketing entails.

Ultimately, the whole task is to present yourself and your party in the right light. Exactly how your election campaign should be organised depends very much on your objectives. This consideration is the central aspect of your campaign management and also influences how your political advertising and political marketing on the Internet will look.
