Varied food is also one of the reasons why you have to love Germany. There are two reasons why there is such good food here. Firstly, the federal states have their own specialities. On the other hand, the special cuisines of other countries have also given rise to many a delicacy. The neighbouring French country certainly had no bad influence on German cuisine. It has ensured that many a pastry has been adopted in Germany. But the good cuisine of the German-speaking neighbouring country of Austria also ensures good quality. You can get good coffee in Germany, just as the country is known for its select home-style cooking.

After all, there are a whole host of influences from countries from which guest workers came to Germany. Italy is one example. Many Italian families settled in Germany and brought pizza to the country. It is just as popular with many Germans as pasta and other specialities from beautiful Italy. But kebab and Turkish meat dishes are also available in every major German city. So if you get hungry in Germany, you can usually choose just the right dish.

Depending on what you're in the mood for, you'll find the right option for a delicious meal. Big appetites are catered for as well as small snacks for in-between meals. From a full steak to a currywurst for a break or a barbecue, there are many options. Barbecuing is one of the most popular hobbies in Germany. This proves that Germans also have a special taste. Good home-style cooking is appreciated. In addition to hearty meat dishes, the country also offers vegetarians delicious meals. And even vegans can find good food in every town today. As a rule, restaurants also have meat-free dishes on their menus. If you don't want meat, the staff won't give you a dirty look.

The country has a varied and open cuisine. This quality benefits everyone who enjoys a delicious meal. Good cuisine is not just something for special holidays. Even during the week, Germans like to go to their favourite Italian restaurant, eat Chinese food or treat themselves to a good meal of their choice somewhere else. This variety enriches everyday life and ensures a good quality of life in the country.

Compared to other countries, not only certain dishes are served. And even every small restaurant today attaches great importance to a good selection of different dishes. Anyone who goes to a restaurant is therefore offered a good selection of food. But guests are also looked after in a friendly manner. As a rule, you can count on good service from the waiters. The staff in upmarket restaurants are always on hand to help guests with important tips when choosing a dish. This comprehensive advice may not be available in other places, but you can always count on a reasonably priced meal.

In Germany, good food is not just the preserve of the rich. The country offers it to its entire population. This is a quality that we can rightly be proud of today.
