Unfortunately, these are usually not our PCs or laptops, as we also want to be able to rest. Nevertheless, our website is available 24 hours a day because there are providers who offer you exactly this service. These are called providers. They offer you space on one of their computers (= servers), which you can rent on a monthly basis.

These servers are constantly online with a line that allows a certain number of simultaneous connections to the Internet. So far so good! So why do some providers charge so differently for this service (=hosting)? It starts at 1 EUR per month and ends at several 100 EUR per month.
